Our certified and licensed counselors have helped thousands of consumers overcome their unique financial challenges, and we invite you to take advantage of all the resources CCMS has to offer.  Free consultations with a Certified Credit Counselor are available, which are aimed at identifying your financial needs and determining the best action plan to get you out of debt. Depending on circumstances and amount of debt, we may suggest that you enter a debt management program.

How Our Debt Management Program Works

If put on a debt management program, we work with you and your creditors to achieve the fastest way to help get you out of debt. First, we set up a realistic budget for your monthly expenses. Then, we act as a 3rd party negotiator and send out proposals to your creditors to lower interest rates, lower monthly payments, and work with our structured payment program. You then bring in one monthly payment to us, and we disperse funds to all your creditors. This ensures on time payments, convenience of only having to make one payment, and increases your chances for financial freedom once again! For this debt management program, we do charge a small monthly fee. Because CCMS is a non-profit organization, these funds directly support our free financial literacy classes taught in the community all over the Magic Valley.
